Your appointment time is set aside for you alone. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, so we can offer that time to another patient.
Unless other arrangements have been made, payment is required at each appointment. We have HICAPS for direct billing of health insurers. We also accept cash, credit cards, and EFTPOS.
The cost of dental treatments can vary from person to person, depending on the treatment you may need. When we recommend a specific treatment, we will discuss the pricing of the treatment plan and explain the various financing options that best suit your needs. We offer third-party financing and insurance options to fit most everyone’s financial needs.
Our clinic welcomes walk-ins and accepts emergency cases. Dental emergencies are unexpected and can sometimes be terrifying, depending on the type of emergency. We treat emergencies ranging from persistent toothaches to knocked-out teeth. If you are experiencing anything other than a dental emergency, contact 000 to seek medical treatment.
We generally recommend professional dental cleanings every six months. Even with good daily brushing and flossing, plaque can gradually build up on the teeth. Over time, this soft bacterial film can harden into calculus (tartar), which cannot be removed with a toothbrush alone.
During routine cleaning visits, your oral health therapist gently removes this buildup, helping to protect your gums and reduce the risk of periodontal disease. Regular cleans also allow us to monitor your oral health closely and identify any potential issues early, supporting a healthier mouth over the long term.
We recommend sensitivity toothpaste, which contains strontium chloride or potassium nitrate. These toothpastes are very effective in treating sensitive teeth. After a few weeks of use, you may notice a decrease in sensitivity. Highly acidic foods, such as oranges, grapefruits, lemons, tea, and soda, can increase tooth sensitivity and counteract the effects of sensitive toothpaste. If you do not get relief by brushing gently and using desensitising toothpaste, schedule an appointment so we can check your oral health.
There are several options for replacing missing teeth, depending on how many teeth are missing and your overall oral health. Solutions may include dental bridges, implant-supported crowns, or more comprehensive implant treatment for larger gaps.
During your consultation, we’ll assess your individual situation and discuss the most suitable option, including the expected timeline and what’s involved in treatment.
