Dr Michael Zaninovich

Dr Jay has a strong interest in implant dentistry and oral rehabilitation. He completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at the University of Auckland before graduating with a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Western Australia. Following graduation, Dr Jay gained broad experience practising all aspects of general dentistry in regional Western Australia.

Through this experience, Dr Jay developed a keen appreciation of the impact tooth loss can have on a patient’s quality of life, which led to a growing interest in dental implants and implant-based rehabilitation. With ongoing advancements in implant technology and treatment planning, he values the ability to offer predictable, effective solutions that restore function, comfort, and confidence for patients. He finds it particularly rewarding to see the positive outcomes these treatments can achieve.

Dr Jay enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in preventative, restorative, and sedation dentistry. He is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attends continuing education courses to ensure he can offer a broad range of contemporary treatment options tailored to each patient’s needs.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Jay enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through social sport and recreation, follows a number of sports teams, and values opportunities to travel and experience new places. He enjoys meeting new patients and takes pride in working collaboratively with them to achieve healthy, confident smiles.
