There is paid parking available on the street and in numerous car parks in the general area, all offering a short walk to our clinic.
Public Transport: The 300 bus stops on Old Northern Highway, just near our clinic; Buses 277, 278, 307, 320, 321, 322, 326, and 328 all stop on Great Eastern Highway, which offers a 10 min walk to our clinic, or from the Midland Train Station is a 15 minute walk to Aria Dental Midland.

Dr. Daniel Zhang BOH, DMD, MRACDS(PDS)

Born and raised in Sydney, NSW, Dr Daniel completed his postgraduate studies at the University of Western Australia, graduating as a Doctor of Dental Medicine. He was awarded the ‘Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeon’s Academic Prize’ for high academic achievement. Before this, Dr Daniel had completed the Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Sydney and was awarded the University’s Faculty Research Award. Daniel’s experience has led him to numerous private and corporate dental practices in NSW, but now it’s Western Australia that he calls home.

Dr. Daniel enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is devoted to dental implant dentistry, tooth replacement, surgical dentistry, oral rehabilitation dentistry, and high-aesthetic dentistry. He loves to provide the most calming and comforting environments for all his patients and prides himself on educating and learning from his patients. Daniel always strives to provide the highest level of clinical excellence in any treatment he performs to ensure the happiness of all his patients. Daniel is a committed member of the Australian Dental Association of Western Australia and a member of the Australian Prosthodontic Society. He always aims to improve in all aspects of his clinical practice by attending courses and keeping up with new research.

Aside from being a dentist, Daniel loves to stay fit by working out three or four times a week and enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Daniel also has a strong passion for motorcycles and spends his weekends cruising through various areas of WA, exploring new places with his fellow riders.

Dr Allan Lum – BDSc (Hons) UWA, FICOI and Invisalign Provider

Dr Allan obtained his Bachelor of Dental Science degree with honours from the University of Western Australia in 2009 and was awarded numerous prizes for his academic achievements. Upon graduation, he worked in Bunbury under the mentoring and guidance of prosthodontist Dr. Timothy Yuen. He was exposed to oral implantology very early in his career. Dr Allan now brings a wealth of knowledge and experience back to Perth to work with Dr Michael Zaninovich and the Aria Dental Implant Centre Midland team.

Dr Allan is dedicated to providing high-quality dental care. He has an eye for the details; some will even say he is a perfectionist. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, but his interests are prosthodontics (veneers, crowns, and bridgework), oral implantology and orthodontics.

Dr Allan possesses a very calm and warm nature and aims to make the visit to the dentist a pleasant one. He believes in a patient-centred approach, and his goal is to create and maintain healthy teeth and beautiful, personalised smiles. Dr Allan will spend time understanding each individual before assessing and recommending an appropriate course of treatment.

Continuing education and professional development are essential to Dr Allan, so he regularly travels abroad to keep up-to-date with the latest techniques. He enjoys learning from and maintaining contact with the world’s best clinicians.

Dr James (Jim) McCullagh -BDS (London)

Dr Jim graduated from Guy’s Hospital in Central London in 1991 after entering Dental School as a mature-aged student. Dr Jim began his dental career working in a private practice and the NHS until 1996.

He came on holiday to Perth in 1995 and loved it so much that he returned with a view to living here permanently – which he did the following year! Dr Jim built himself an exceptional reputation working in practices in Subiaco, Claremont, Perth CBD, and Byford. In 2000, Dr Jim purchased The Armadale Dental Centre, where he set up a successful practice and stayed as Principal Dentist for 21 years. Dr Jim sold his practice in November 2021 and enjoyed a well-deserved break until October 2022, when he joined the Midland Dental Centre team – now Aria Dental Implant Centre Midland.

Outside Dentistry, Dr Jim tries to ‘hold back the years’ with running and frequent gym visits. He has run three marathons, including the famous New York marathon, and is often seen outdoing his regular park runs.

Dr Nour Abu Shamleh – BSc (UWA), DMD (USYD)

Dr Nour Abu Shamleh attained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Australia before pursuing postgraduate studies in Dentistry at the University of Sydney. After graduating with a Doctor of Dental Medicine and gaining experience in the public and private sectors within Sydney and regional New South Wales, she returned to Perth.

Dr Nour understands that visiting the dentist can be a daunting experience for many patients and strives to make it a positive one. She is friendly and compassionate and places a strong emphasis on communication. Her goal is to empower patients to understand and take control of their oral health and treatment needs, and she particularly enjoys inspiring confidence and enthusiasm in more anxious patients.

Dr Nour enjoys all aspects of general and restorative dentistry, and she loves to stay up to date with the latest dental techniques, procedures and technologies through regular professional development training. Her approach to treatment is holistic, incorporating preventive dentistry to foster better oral health and hygiene habits and help patients achieve long-term oral health outcomes.
