Dr Michael Zaninovich graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2004 having been awarded both the Dental School Dean’s Award for outstanding performance in the Bachelor of Dental Surgery and the Endodontics Prize in his final clinical year. He subsequently moved to Perth to be with his family in 2005 and worked for five years in general private practice. During this time, he developed a particular interest in dental implants, oral surgery and full mouth rehabilitation.
Dr Zaninovich completed the Primary examinations in 2005 and received commendations in Anatomy, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Pathology. In 2008, he completed his Secondary Examinations and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
Seeking to further improve his skills and knowledge to provide patients with the best care they could possibly receive, he undertook a three-year full time specialist training programme in Prosthodontics at The University of Adelaide in 2010. This is the highest qualification that one can obtain for cosmetic and implant dentistry.
