Appropriate referrals are an integral part of complete quality healthcare management. Referrals should be based on the education, training, interest, and experience of the referring dentist and the unique needs of the patient. Dentists are expected to recognise the extent of the treatment needs of their patients and when referrals are necessary.

Aria Dental is keen to build a strong relationship with all dentists. Dr Michael Zaninovich works closely with referring dentists and is available to discuss all aspects of the treatment from the planning phase to the prosthodontic and/or surgical phase.

We provide regular updates on patients’ treatments to keep our referring providers well-informed. Examination findings are outlined as well as proposed management and any treatment they may have received. Once the treatment has been completed, patients are promptly referred back to their dentist for general dental care and maintenance.

At Aria Dental we understand that any care rendered by a consulting dentist should be coordinated with that of the referring dentist, and any other dentists involved in the treatment. Each dentist should have a clear understanding of the role each is playing in providing care to the patient.

Referrals can be taken for surgical and prosthodontic care including:

  • Diagnosis and Treatment Planning
  • Prosthodontic Reconstruction
  • Full Mouth Rehabilitation
  • Implant Restorative and Surgical Management
